After working for several nonprofits and serving marginalized communities as a holistic case worker, it became evident culturally appropriate individuals were scarce in the field of therapy. I was devastated to discover there were very few Latinx therapist that were from the culture, spoke Spanish and provided a deep sliding scale or event took insurance in the Houston area. I am passionate about social justice and committed to dismantling societal pressures placed upon POC individuals.

As a Latina immigrant from Central America, I've navigated systems of oppression since childhood. Being the first in my family to earn a BA and MA, I am passionate about social justice and dismantling societal pressures on marginalized individuals. I proudly identify as a feminist and ally to oppressed groups.
